As from Mid February 2011, we will be operating our Regular Steam services. We have planned an enthusiasts style timetable for the first weekend. Just over 5 locomotives from our fleet of 7 will operate over the weekend.
Locos:
Roundhouse "Lady Anne" No.1 "Hermione"
Roundhouse "Lady Anne" No.2 "Sir Davy Armstrong"
Darjeeling "B" class "Maid of Kent"
"Forney" No.6 "Salem"
Roundhouse "Jack" No.4 "Holman F Stephens"
Proposed Workings:
During the weekend we have planned a selection of unusual workings for you to enjoy. No's 1&5 will be double heading the first train of the day from Rye to Appledore and return at 9:00, with a photo runby included in the itinerary for good measure.
No.'s 6&2 will pair up to double head the 10:00 train from Rye to Appledore, (one way). The train will return to Rye as a banked service. No.4 "Holman F Stephens" will take charge of the 11:00 train from Rye to Appledore and return. The last train of the day will see the two "Lady Anne" locomotives take charge to double head the last train of the day from Rye to Appledore and return.
A roster will appear when I have confirmed final details.

"Salem" Overhaul close to completion
The overhaul of the American "Forney" No.6 "Salem" is nearing completion, however several other problems have been discovered. The steam tests have been carried out, and "Salem" was attached to one of today's Service Trains double headed with Sir Davy Armstrong. The problems include cylendar, boiler and regulator problems. Therefore, the locomotive will return to Rhos Helyg Locomotive works to have these repairs carried out.
Please be aware that we are operating our Firework Special's on Saturday 14th November. These should be hauled by Darjeeling "B" Class No.5 "Maid of Kent", due to return to traffic on Friday 12th November. A roster to reflect her return will be published on the blog within the next few days. The K&SBLR Management Staff will be talking about the latest developments and future events in the upcoming "Railway's Live" broadcast.
